This prefabricated container homestay was designed to meet the client’s specific needs, considering their budget while maximizing space usage. The final design incorporates three 20ft containers stacked together, offering two terraces, a bedroom, a living room, and a dining area.

Custom Designed for Practicality and Budget

Our design team worked closely with the client to adjust their initial concept and create an affordable yet functional living space. The client’s initial plan involved stacking too many containers, which would have been costly. With careful consideration of both budget constraints and the goal of maximizing usable space, we reworked the design and ended up with three 20ft containers stacked strategically.

Main Frame: 100 x 100 x 3mm hot-dip galvanized square tube

Exterior Wall: 25 x 25 x 1.2mm corrugated board

Insulation: 40mm thick foamed polyurethane for efficient temperature control

Interior Wall: 6mm thick bamboo fiber wallboard

Flooring: 1.2mm cold plate + 25 x 25 x 2.0mm hot-dip galvanized square tube + 9mm plywood
